Julian Harris Academy

The Julian Harris Academy provides support to those new to the industry and to experienced professionals wishing to develop new skills.

The Academy currently offers the following schemes:

❚ Mentoring Scheme

A support programme for prospective advisers who are newly qualified or have limited experience and looking to gain Competent Adviser Status (CAS).

The Mentoring Scheme launched in April 2017. It offers those with limited experience in the industry who are either newly qualified or wanting a change of career, to kick-start their own businesses. The Mentoring Scheme provides participants with an experienced adviser to guide them through the process and offer help and support.

A low fee structure has been carefully designed to help ensure that participants can get their businesses off to the best possible start. Members can join Julian Harris as Advisers With or Appointed Representatives on a self-employed/Limited company basis. Participants are also offered training sessions specifically aimed at how to attract business and given details of a number lead generation programmes.

Julian has had to invest a lot of time and money in putting a great training and assessment program in place, ably run by Peter Welsh, along with highly experienced mentors to train, guide and support you along the way. With a structured program, I could work under Julian Harris Mortgages Ltd with 100% supervision and a mentor checking and discussing my cases before advice was given until I achieved CAS status.

❚ Progression to IFA Status

We provide full support and assistance towards gaining IFA status if desired. We aim to make this a quick and simple transition.
